I'd have to imagine the crazy restrictions and long wait times/delays involved when flying commercial has probably pushed a few people to "upgrade" their flying experience by joining a fractional program. Also, Netjets even made 3Luxe's (a curated product review site and shopping search engine) top three fractional jet ownership programs - http://www.3luxe.com/category/Aviation/Fractional_Jet_Ownership - along with Citeline and FlexJet.
