Fairmont Heritage Place, the Fairmont’s fractional ownership residence club, has announced plans for two new locations.

The first is Vail, Colorado. Slated to open in 2011, the Fairmont Vail will be built on the site of the former Evergreen Lodge in the Lionshead area of Vail (see map). The resort will feature 128 rooms, 73 Fairmont (whole ownership) Residences, as well as the Fairmont Heritage Place fractional residences. The second is in the Punta Cana region of the Dominican Republic (see map), at the Roco Ki resort community. Slated to open in 2010, The Fairmont Roco Ki will feature a 255-room hotel and an undisclosed number of Fairmont (whole ownership) Residences and Fairmont Heritage Place fractional residences. The resort will also feature restaurants and bars, 17,500 square feet of meeting space, a 15,000-square-foot Willow Stream Spa, and a Nick Faldo-designed 18-hole championship golf course.
