Second Home Options: Ways to Share and Save

A recent New York Times article called “Ways to Share, and Save” covers timeshares and fractional ownership and when they make sense compared to renting or whole ownership of a vacation home. They interview the authors of several books including Bridget McCrea, co-author of “Second Homes for Dummies” and Lisa Ann Schreier, author of “Timeshare Vacations for Dummies”. Also quoted is shared ownership legal expert Andy Sirkin, who Luxury Fractional Guide founder, Sherman Potvin, often turns to for legal advice on fractional projects. Andy is an expert on the shared ownership legal requirements for each U.S. state and specializes in overseas real estate issues as well.
