The Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe announced yesterday that it will open its doors on December 9, 2009. The $300 million resort development is the first new-build resort development in Lake Tahoe in decades. The resort sits slopeside in close proximity to both Lake Tahoe and Truckee, and will include a 17,000 sq.ft. spa and fitness center, hotel with 170 guest rooms, 23 private Ritz-Carlton residences, and 25 Ritz-Carlton Destination Club fractional ownership residences.
The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club, Lake Tahoe will open to members on December 18, 2009. The 25 two-, three- and four-bedroom fractional residences will offer their owners a minimum of 21 days of use each year. Pricing ranges from $200,000 to more than $700,000 per deeded share.
